General Usage
Trigonella foenum-graecum, fenugreek, is one of the oldest medicinal plants mentioned in Ayurveda for its variety of usage. It is used as antibacterial, gastric stimulant, against anorexia, antidiabetic agent and as a galactagogue. Fenugreek seeds regulate several enzymatic activities, relieves fever, reduces body pain and fat, alleviates swelling, augments appetite and promotes lactation and sex hormones.

Trigonella foenum-graecum (Fenugreek) has been known for centuries for its exceptional medicinal and nutritional benefits. Today, fenugreek seeds have great nutraceutical value. Fenugreek seeds have fiber, phospholipids, glycolipids, oleic acid, linolenic acid, linoleic acid, choline, vitamins A, B1, B2, C, nicotinic acid, niacin, and many other functional elements.
