Pueraria tuberosa is widely used in the treatment of fever, menorrhagia, skin diseases, wounds, bronchial asthma, and jaundice in traditional medicine. Ayurvedically, Vidari kanda is used in urinary tract ailments, reproductive disorders, and in combination with other herbs. The Vidari kanda rhizome possesses all the Rasayana properties.
