Traditionally, Indigo leaves are used to cure disorders including epilepsy and nervous disorders; asthma and bronchitis; fever; complaints of the stomach, liver, kidney and spleen. The leaves are also made into an ointment for treating skin diseases, wounds, sores, ulcers.
