General Usage
Traditionally, Hibiscus sabdariffa flowers are used for their diuretic effect. It helps lower fevers and is considered to be antiscorbutic in nature. It is widely popular as a tonic tea for better digestion and kidney function. Hibiscus sabdariffa flower is a folk remedy in the treatment of abscesses, bilious conditions, cancer, cough, debility, dyspepsia, dysuria, fever, hangover, heart ailments, and hypertension.
