General Usage
The whole plant of Eclipta alba (Bhringraj) is useful for treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, respiratory tract disorders (including asthma), fever, hair loss and graying of hair, liver disorders (including jaundice), skin disorders, spleen enlargement, and cuts and wounds.
Overview
Eclipta alba (Bhringraj) is also called false daisy. Ayurveda terms Bhringraj as a wonderful herb to manage Tridosha. It contains active phytoconstituents like wedelolactone, eclalbasaponins, ursolic acid, oleanolic acid, luteolin, and apigenin. Bhringraj has great cosmeceutical and nutraceutical implications.
