Punarnava is a well-known medicinal plant in Indian traditional medicine and other parts of the world. Boerhaavia diffusa is used in case of gastrointestinal and gynecological ailments. It also has hepatoprotective properties. Punarnava is also used in Chronic Kidney Disease, Urinary Tract Infections, Kidney stones, Obesity, Diabetes, and Arthritis.
