Controlled airflow, strict cleanroom protocols and continuously monitored environments ensure freshness and quality remain intact from arrival to dispatch. All our operations run on SAP systems and are supported by Organic, FFL, GMP, FSSC 22000, FSMA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and several other accreditations and certifications.

Plant Profile
Brassica juncea is commonly known as brown or Indian mustard. It is a hardy annual herb. It belongs to the Brassicaceae family. It typically grows between 30 cm and 100 cm in height. The plant is characterized by its erect and branched stems. The lower part forms a basal rosette of large, deeply lobed (lyrate-pinnatifid) green leaves. The upper leaves are smaller, lance-shaped, and often entire. During its blooming season, it produces bright yellow, four-petaled flowers. The flowers are arranged in elongated clusters called racemes. These flowers give way to narrow, cylindrical fruit pods known as siliques. Each silique contain small, globose seeds. These seeds are the key feature of the "brown mustard". They measure about 1 to 1.7 mm in diameter and range in color from dark reddish-brown to grayish-black. The plant is believed to have originated in the Central Asian Himalayas. Subsequently, it diversified in China and India. B. juncea is now one of the most widely distributed mustard species globally. In India, it is grown on a large commercial production. Including Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Punjab, and Haryana.
Healthcare Perspective
In Ayurveda, Brassica juncea also known as Rajika. It is described as possessing ushna (heating) and teekshna (sharp/penetrating) properties. In Ayurveda, it is utilized with the intent to balance Kapha and Vata doshas. Historically, practitioners have prepared pastes from the seeds for external application. Such as mustard plasters (Upanaha). These applications are believed to stimulate local circulation and provide warmth. In traditional internal applications, the seeds and oil are incorporated into dietary practices. They are used to support the Agni (digestive fire). Specifically in the context of addressing bloating and appetite according to Ayurvedic principles.
Phytochemical Composition
The chemical profile of Brassica juncea seeds is rich in sulfur-containing compounds. These compounds are known as glucosinolates. Sinigrin being the most prominent (comprising 95–99% of the total glucosinolate content). The seeds are a rich source of phenolic acids. Particularly sinapic acid is most prominent and its choline ester, sinapine is also present. Other hydroxycinnamic acids include such as ferulic and caffeic acids. The oil fraction, which constitutes approximately 30–45% of the seed. It contains high levels of erucic acid, oleic acid, and essential omega-3 fatty acids. Specifically alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). Additionally, the seeds contain a variety of flavonoids (such as quercetin and kaempferol). It also provide plant sterols, and tocopherols (Vitamin E).
